mbappé on the move

@k.mbappe officially won't be renewing his contract with @psg. It appears that the future Ballon D'Or candidate has made his mind up on wanting to be the latest addition to a long line of well-documented Galacticos, leaving Liverpool languishing in the wings like a wishful suitor trying to escape the friend zone.

That said, don't rule out Liverpool just yet! Why? Long term admirers FSG - the current owners - aren't messing around. They recently sold shares to RedBird Capital Partners, worth an alleged £5.32 billion, which will be used to reduce covid incurred debt and aid with plans to redevelop the Anfield Road stand. Throw long term stakeholder Lebron James, current kit sponsors Nike, Head Coach Jurgen Klopp and Chief negotiator Micheal Edwards into the mix, and you've got a nucleus of optimism for @liverpoolfc fans.

How? Mbappé is currently strongly affiliated with @nikefootball. They will be looking at the 22-year-old as a raw canvas, ready to be displayed with the 'Micheal Jordan global brand strategy of superstardom' frame. LeBron is a classic example following the template - his clothing brand is rumoured to be Liverpool's next title sponsor. No different to Jordan's collaboration with PSG! If Mbappe stay's close with the brand, there is no reason why he couldn't have his clothing line in the future. Besides, being mentored by LeBron will have its benefits in terms of personal brand equity growth on its own. And who sponsors Real Madrid? None other than old foes @adidasfootball.

Moving away from personal financial growth and status, you have all the football reasons at Liverpool too. Sure, despite the current yo-yo season that the club is enduring, you have one of the most exemplary father figures football has to offer in Klopp, with arguably the worlds best hug! You have the undoubted force and embrace of the fans and let's not forget the smooth yet persuasive ability of Micheal Edwards. And did someone mention a statue? Just ask Coutinho; he can tell you what could have been.

However, he'll probably still land up wearing the legendary Los Blancos shirt because, well, you know, 'Hala Madrid'.
